You must remeber the Roman "Empire" became a dictatorship and that is what killed it. For those that beleive in God and/or Jesus, I beleive that this is his nation. Now that Israel has changed (although the Jews are still his people: hence their success).

As long as the US remains truly free, it will survive.

Rome like stated lived 1500 years(more than most countries) china has been a dictatorship for thousands of years medieval and Napoleonic period European country went on for hundreds of years, Hawaii had nice dictatorship until American colonists over threw it(shall i continue), you have had that idea put in your brain by American democracy you must look to history

Do you have any idea how wrong you are? Roman Empire wasn't destroyed because of "dictatorship" as you say. Dictator was used by romans hundreds of years as a rank that gave one people power above all. His reign lasted for six months. It wasvery common to nominate a dictator when the city was in great danger. Later there was endless civil wars that would have destroyed the Roman Republic if Augustus hadn't taken power. After he was nominated Princeps, the first, he was never made an emperor. Thanks to Augustus and his reforms Rome was allowed to survive the next 400 years. Rome was destroyed by few main factors which are: inflation, barbarian hordes and because of personal problems. Rome WASN'T destroyed because of "dictators" who just ruined everything.

And your precious USA isn't very free at the moment. I think you have already begun your downfall.

US is pretty damn free, more so than anyone else probably, and what makes you think its on its downfall? Because we're stuck fighting terrorists in Iraq? I've got news for you, the US is way too powerful.
And im not just talkin about military, im talkin economy and such too
You may say "but the US has all that debt, its economy is shit", that wont bring down the country because the American people have money

how are we so free compared to every other western nation?, we not umber powerful we've been stuck in Iraq and Afghanistan for several years and really haven't got anywhere in a few years in both, don't over estimate the power of capitalism *points to unemployment and poverty level*

Unemployment isnt that bad, its not getting worse, it fluctuates a percentage or two every few years, if anything its on the decline

And Iraq and Afghanistan isnt really a place to test military might, since they dont really have any objectives except to walk around and wait for them to shoot you
