When do you think that USA will fall and loose it's position as super power?

It won't crumble, it will just be reduced to France, England, or Germany status.

But by what? Probably not another countries millitary power, We're the country that NEEDS medication...See now, We nuked Japan and then said "We're Sorry".

Most likely it will collapse upon itself.

i think it will "die" within 20 years with a second civil war over some debate that is inevitable through democracy

I think our economic problems and military over-extension will cause us problems in the long run.

Now would be a good time for a smiley shaking his head in disappointment. You guys need to stop complaining about the USA. Its the most democratic country in the world. It has the most freedom and all you do is whine and complain about "Bush this, Bush that," "Iraq this, Iraq that." The USA will never fall as long as it is free.

Our military "over- extension is better than nothing. If we had never gone to Iraq or Viet Nam and the like you would all be complaining that we did nothing.

I seriously doubt America will die off any time soon, politicians come and go, wars come and go, but the US is just too strong to die off any time soon

Im with you my brothers. A military can not be too powerful as long as we maintain control, and if a lib is elected then we wont maintain control.

We should have helped vietnam be a democratic nation when they asked for our help against the French, not let it fall to the soviets. The vietnam war was also something we should not have done. We supported a dictatorship against another one, the only thing in it for us was the guy we were helping was for a free market, not communism.

We also should not have gone into Iraq. Period, frankly Iraq wasn't a problem after the first gulf war and the time Clinton bombed it.

Sorry, just defending the accusation, now back on topic.

If that was US bombing youve got alot to learn. If we wanted to (Im not saying we should), we could annhilate Iraq and most other countries within one week without nukes. That was basically a "Please dont hurt me." Bombing is like London in WWII.

In what position are you to tell me or other people against the wars what they would think? There are so many people that said NO before each war but for the most part people didn't care enough to really speak out.

Do any of you think American will fall from it's position as #1, or do you guys really think that the US will stay the most powerful nation in the world indefinitely?

Liberals and left wings always have to complain. If Gore or Kerry had been elected theyd be doin the macarena. If they lose an election they will complain about whatever the right wing is doing.

You just see us as whining because it's not your point of view, I'm sure you'd see your complaints of Obama, Edwards, or Hillary as perfectly reasonable.

Lol, we're not rooting for the opposing side. I want our troops home from Iraq, we're putting their dedication to waste. I hate to say it but George Bush is putting our resources and to waste while loosing the support of the world.

You would criticize Bill Clinton for cheating on his wife, but not George Bush for getting us into a war without a victory plan?
