Star Wars Discussion / Re: Revelation (Warning containing spoilers)

if wookieepedia is right, sintas vel recovers with the help of a jedi-turned mandalorian.
Which is Jusik Barden who is from the Republic Commando series. The Republic commando series is linked off the Legacy of the Force series. You will better understand the mandalorians and who they are if you read these.

A'sharad Hett (Darth Krayt) is about 190, and he's still going.
Wait A'sharad Hett is Darth Krayt? I havent Been keeping up with the legacy series (Only the first one is at the Barnes and Noble near me.) I think he fought alongside Anakin Skywalker in the Clone Wars i read a comic about it.

Not knowing something doesn't make you weaker, just less experienced perhaps.

And no, they were not jedi/sith more powerful than him, thats the whole point of a prophecy and such
The prophecy just stated he would bring balance to the force, not that he would be the most powerfull jedi of all time.

Didn't Ventress just play dead? And then she commandeered the shuttle that was transporting her to Coruscant. Or am I very lost?

Nope Count Dooku Sacrified her to make his escape when anakin skywalker and obi-wan invaded with a clone regiment (When i say sacrified i mean she got owned by Anakin and her wounds needed care and Count Dooku just abandoned her)

Not knowing how to do something doesnt make you weak.

And I don't care what your opinion is, Luke IS the most powerful jedi, otherwise you find me someplace that says otherwise.
Actually not knowing how to do something that you're opponet can greatly weaken you (Especially when we are talking about force powers here)

And you just pretty much bashed yourself because 1. I don't have an opinion there are/were sith/jedi more powerful then Luke Skywalker. No where does George Lucas state that Luke is the most powerfull Jedi of all time, he was just the last of the jedi

5
I just want to say Luke Skywalker is definatly not the most powerful Jedi of All time it may not be Darth Revan but there were more Sith and Jedi alot More Powerful then him.
I mean we can just look at the use of the explosive force powers back then in ancient times. Compare Force Storm to Force Lighting, Force Plague, Drain Life. These powers were never used in the current era

I agree 100% with the death penalty if some murder beheads 20 people and ruins so many lives he should die for it.

The revelation in Revelation was that Jacen revealed that he was a Sith, and that his new Sith name is Darth Caedus.

Im not too bothered about the length of the series, im more concerned about how it concentrates so much on a few characters in each book, with only vague references to the others - What has Luke and the other Jedi been doing during Revelation[i/], same for Han and Leia, what happened to Wedge, Syal, Tycho etc?
I read a Interview with the Three authors and if you guys have noticed each Author has (Or Had. Bye bye Alema  ;D) there own personal character to write about
Karren Traviss Had Boba Fett
Troy Denning had Alema Rar
And Arron Allasting(Or whatever it is) had Wedge
But i guess thats going to be excluded in the last books and there going to rap up with all the characters
Thats a minor reason why the books were long. Another reason is that each book was at least 350-400 pages long. You want them to write four 1,000 page books? Not only does it cost more money, they'd probably make alot more just selling the books seperatly

there is sort of a deterioation of the lightsaber skill with time in the galaxy. look at what kreia said in kotor 2 regarding ajunta pall.
Exactly thats the quote i was looking for. It was like "We would pale in comparrison with the masters of the lightsabers arts millenia ago" or something. And that was 4000 years before Luke Skywalker.

11

And Revan is nothing compared to Luke Skywalker, you cant argue that
Lol yes he is. If you toss Revan a "Modern" lightsaber he could take down Luke Skywalker easily. All the Ancient Sithlords could

12
Then simply destroy the Star Forge, problem solved, if a 4000 year-old fleet could do it, it wouldn't be too hard
What about Re-Van?
If it wasn't for him the sith would have won 10 times over
anyways a fleet of sheer numbers, tacticts, and darkside powers unknown to the people of the current era can still make up for a loss in technology
And we have to remember the sith aren't stupid
Solution: Capture a Star Destroyer and mass produce it with the star forge

Its in the back of the book. There is always a preview of the next book in the back
The Invincible preview left me thoroughly confused....
Remember how the Mandalorians made a deal with the Verpine to offer them protection in return for helping them with the beskar? Well the Imperial Remnant (Likley Under Jacen Solo AKA Darth Caedus) Attacked the Verpine Colony and gassed the whole place killing pretty much all the verpine. Fett and Jaina Solo parted ways as he got her a ship off the station. Her training was complete
