I think this belongs here actually. I also think that this thread should be stickied possibly.

In other news I am about to start a Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG campaign with some friends. It will be all of our first RPG and as I am the only one with long-term creative talent (no offense friends) I get to be the GM. I look forward to seeing how badly they can wreck my carefully constructed story

As long as they're not the kind you practically have to hit over the head with plot objects for them to understand, should be fun. I had a group that anything more complex than "find a job as mercenaries" was too much.

Ya, we might have a bit of that problem with some of the younger players (and by that I mean people my age; kids these days . . . ). Just have to wait and see. At least my brother is going for a mostly non-combat "face" character: a Twi'lek former drug lord who got put out of business by Black Sun and is trying to claw his way back up (or should I say down) the underworld totem pole.

I had a feeling that was the issue recently, but found if I used Firefox instead of Chrome/Chromium that it worked just fine. But yeah, definitely can attest to seeing the issue, I was completely unable to post using Chrome the last few days.

Yeah, the shoutbox makes my Chrome take forever to load the forums and I have to repeatedly go into the task manager to kill off Shockwave/Flash to get anywhere.

Extremely noticeable performance difference on the site with Chrome with Shoutbox off.

Random boxing chat: Mayweather is not close to being the best ever as he proclaims, but he is undoubtedly the best of his generation (not counting Hopkins who at this point is a generation older than everyone else). That was a magnificent performance.
