compare a pic of boba in the film to a pic of jango in film jango has a lot more armour

even if he is missing some parts of the armor doesn't mean he didn't respect his fathers memory. He may have lost it while on a hunt or maybe he just doesn't use it. has that occured to you.
Besides he is only missing the leg armor.

He fought against Luke Skywalker in Ep.VI. Besides Boba was much more know and feared than Jango.
