boba didn't die. he was never digested by the sarlacc. he got swallowed and escaped. twice. he later led the mandalorians as mandalore in the YV war to 40ABY and possibly further. it seems likely he will die in this series, though.

boba is far better than jango though. jango killed one jedi. indirectly, i may add. (dooku dealt the killing blows) boba killed numerous jedi during the great jedi purge and beyond.
