Well, for me it's just about any book that has THRAWN in it. So, therefore, Heir to the empire, dark force rising, last command, and outbound flight all rock!!!!!

My favorite would have to be Dark Lord: The Rise Of Darth Vader primarily because my favorite faction is the Republic and it delves into a part of Vader we don't really see in the movies. And because of the fact it shows the very early Empire.

That's a hard question to answer to. I guess I prefer Thrawn Trilogy, but as I said Outbound Flight is one of the best books I have read. But loses to Thrawn Trilogy.

having just finished Outbound Flight i have to agree with you - there are some questions that i feel need to be explored though

i would like Zahn to write about what Thrawn was doing between Outbound Flight and the Thrawn trilogy - so both with the Chiss Ascendancy, the Empire and the EoTH

the main question that came from OF was how Thrawn coped with being part of the Empire - especially once the slavery and anti-human bias developed - he seemed strongly against slavery before...

but surely Palpatine respected him, and he was in a high enough position to do something about it ?
