I have been reading some discussion about the goods and bads in Invincible and one think some have taken as a bad thing is that Jacen wasn't redeemd in the end. What is your opinion?

few non-force-sensitives have ever killed an (active trained) jedi or sith. boa and jango. they are the only edi killers i know. and vong, or course.

yet han was like 10 times as badass as greivous, jango combined. and a little more badass than boba. harrison ford. come on now. and in star wars, it seems like the people are always redeemed, (cept for the emporer he got killed several times) and sometimes the bad guys just need to get what they deserve.

HARISSON FORD! you can't get more badass than that. COME ON! he was the only actor in star wars that actually had a career in acting after that. besides alec guinnes who just cameo'd in alot of stuff.

I think Jacen dying rather than being redeemed was the best end to the series. It shows a clear difference between Luke and Jaina's perspective. Also, he wouldnt have had much of a life after being redeemed, i doubt the galaxy would have settled for penance like Kyp had after Carida..

One thing that did annoy me to some extent was the way the Jedi battles have become much more complex and violent as the canon extends further. I mean, in the films and the earlier books, the battles were pretty straight forward, while in LotF they seemed to go a bit OTT with it all.

I think the whole of the Jacen plot was idiotic. It was just like watching the movies again, except with alot more gays and gayness.

Jacen thought by turning to the dark side he could end the continuous war and such. bad idea. He killed some good star wars characters and hurt many of them. The fool walked the same path as anakin skywalker in many ways and the end result wuz basically the same. the only difference was that jacen was a fool and highly disrespectful to the ways of the light side of the force. the fool deserved nothing for his deceiving and traitorous ways. In fact he wuz even said to be a "pawn" for other sith to use as a distraction. So no Jacen deserved nothing.
