Informations on the Empire of the Hand's ships

I wanted to know if the ships of the Empire of the Hand were invented at 100% or if they were based on facts?
If they are based on facts, do you have any resources to learn more about them ? Because I started to create a rpg with some friends and I used them as reference.

The Empire of the Hand's ships weren't explored beyond the Clawcraft and mentions of "Chiss Star Destroyers." Beyond that, we had to design them.
