I'm between books right now but I just finished Temple by Mathew Reilly. The next on the list is Hell's Gate by David Weber and Linda Evans.

Sigh, the book I listed earlier begins a series that doesn't end...and the last book in it ends with a major cliffhanger! Why David Weber! Why?! How did ya'll know about Mathew Reilly and his awesomeness while I was left in the dark?! lol...

His Scarecrow series is what got me hooked, (Ice Station, Area 50 (i think) and then Scarecrow).
