New Republic E-Webs?

Random question to the devs/community? Why does the New republic not have the ability to build E-Web infantry? From my (albeit very limited) understanding, the E-Web was pretty common. Makes sense that the late Rebellion/early New Republic was able to steal a few from the Imperials. It also just seems strange that they can build star ships but not a dedicated anti-infantry weapon.

Not sure that E-Webs correspond to the military philosophy of the New Republic. It seems too much ... "Impersonal" I think.

Look forward to testing this mod anyway.

Agreed. Always reminds me of the scene in Empire. Still, it would be a rather useful weapon.
