What I really want them to do is kill off Wedge. I really like him, but I think it would be fitting if he died in a blaze of glory defending his home or family from Jacen.

As in, he pwns anyone he is fighting at unbelievable odds (for anyone else) and knocks out like 2 RSDs. That would be awesome.

or he takes out like a super weapon they introduce into the new book. maybe it could be a black hole generator that is based off of examining dovin basils.

I think Wedge would be killed. He has no purpose to be anymore. and it would be nice plot twister. but if they continue to kill major characters at this rate a book or two and none of them are alive anymore.

I don't. He should die in the cockpit of an X-wing. Fighting a superior enemy and meeting a better pilot and killed. the end.

A better pilot that Wedge Antilles? The way the canon has evolved, there isnt a better pilot than Wedge.. Except perhaps for some Jedi, most of whom are on his side.

I think the only character in a position to fight and kill Wedge in a suitable starfighter dogfight is Jacen. But i cant think of any conceivable situation where Wedge would be face to face with Jacen like that - Since Jacen is unlikely to be bothered by anyone less than a Jedi Master, or his former family.

what about over welming odds. he is pulled out of hyperspace by an interdictor to find a massive imperial fleet jump him and he takes out like 2 sd's and tons of ties with him
