2.2 demo stuck on the loading screen and makes my computer unusable

I just downloaded the icw 2.2 demo, it gets stuck on the loading screen for 3 minutes and stops me using any other stuff on my computer, can't even access task manager, tried to close it via toolbar but the that doesn't work and now I'm stuck trying to restart my computer any ideas ?

Probably still loading. Can take a LONG time to load due to the size of the files.

Hi, When you open the game and its on the loading screen press Ctrl and Esc and the same time. then click "ok" on the message that pops up(if It does) That should take you to the game and you can then play it. Hope this helped:)

I'm having the same problem but it doesn't freeze my entire computer. Just the program becomes "not responding" and unusable, as it stops doing processing.

Did you download the patch that fixes this? I was having the same problem until I downloaded it.
