I'll withhold my vote, because of those listed, Kaine is my favorite, but I don't consider him a warlord.  Of those I'm willing to accept the title of Warlord to, Delvardus is by far my favorite.

If we're doing Imperial Splinter factions, Kaine was definitely the smartest. He didn't go making trouble until Shadow Hand, and even then he kicked major NR aft. If Kaine didn't fall for the trap set by Grant and the NR, he may have been able to stop the NR from retaking half the galaxy.

weeeelllllllll, he didn't really had any interest in expanding the PA or really engaging anyone at all.

I voted "someone else", by which I obviously mean Thrawn.

alright, my mistake, but that vote had me scratching my head, so thanks for clearing that up.

what i USUALLY mean by warlord is really imperial splinter-faction, which thrawn technically doesn't count in, so i wasn't counting him

as for warlords, i agree, it would have to be Zsinj, then Kaine, success wise, but Kaine had the potential to be something greater, had it not been for who he was (see Lord Xizer's character study on Ardus Kaine for more details) that hampered him. while i voted for Kaine, i agree Zsinj would really win, especially after Kaine lost Jerec, Sariss, Yun, the rest of the dark jedi, Vengeance, and Grant, so yeah, Zsinj.

however, i wanted to hear public opinion on this, so that now this is cleared up, it's zsinj. unless the poll drastically changes overnight.

I respectfully disagree. Thrawn didn't carve out his own territories nor did he had ambitions of his own. He simply came to unite the Imperials to a common goal and get them back on track. He just wasn't a Warlord or split off from the IR for his own ambition.

Zsinj gets my vote because frankly...He was the one Warlord where both NR and IR gave a real damn about to warrant a quick team up before Zsinj became too powerful.

Kaine again is close if because his group lasted long and grew powerful...Yet that same safety net made him unable to commit to full out fighting.
