Hello Again too you all and your probably thinking to yourselves saying "We don't need the f#@$ing Assertor Class in the mod when we have the Executor and the Other" Or (Why do we need a ship that only had 2 ship in it line" Or "why do we need another God DAMN SSD in the mod when we have like what 5 or 6 ssd's allready" Well those are great question and all  (and yes I know that not all that is said about the ship and why it's needed in the mod at all just let me say what I'm going to say and everything will be clear ok) that not why this question is being made today for. No it's to ASK why we should have the Assertor in the mod in the first Place. (And Yes I'm saying not for 2.2 but for 2.3 when it comes out in the Future ok) Well the first question you should ask is that one It a better Choice to say the Bellator in the case of it has better Firepower, Shields, Armor, And size when you need a bigger ship too help I a Spacebattle. Second it a better option to say a Executor or Sovereign which is the same length but has a Super Laser (which is more powerful the an Executor in terms of firepower) and the Eclipse. ...need I say more about that ship. ...no ok then. But the Reason is that when you need a big ship that bigger the Bellator (which where the Escort Ships for the Assertor in the First place) but you don't want a Executor or a Executor Or a Sovereign and so on. Look the fact is that you need a ship that fits in the middle of all the Star Dreadnaughts but in a way is what people are look for in a ship that size in the First place to help you in the mod and that ship can if you know how to use her to your Advantage in a GC. But what do you think of the ship herself  tell me in the comments down below. And why you think (and to tell the mod team) (AND in a good way people) that Assertor Class Super Star Destroyer should be in the and in what way. I'm fairly certain everybody knows how I feel about adding more SSDs to the mod, so I'm not going to say anything about that. What I will say, is that I look forward to seeing other peoples thoughts on this since not all that many jump into SSD debates.

And I can see why people will think that but think about it Some time if your play the As a Faction (That not Thrawns Empire of the Hand)  that you get in a big fight with the AI and you need a Ship that can help you Win the Battles against the AI but the Executor go to The Imperial Remnant and Zsinj's Empire And Eriadu Authority (And yes they maybe the Only Faction that gas The Executor The Perator 2 The Bellator and the Assertor all in one Faction OP sounding right that would be but the fact is that a lot of Credits too spend)  but the Fact is that some time you just need a ship that can do it all and can cost like 30,000 Credits in total and can cost less with a price reduction but is not and Executor ok.

I rarely have that need regardless of what faction I play. I actually play pentastar on FTGU more often than anything and I'm happy with just praetors.

Enough SSD's in the game already IMO.  I love the Assertor look, but just see no point in it.  With PA going to be able to build Bellators, there's simply no reason for yet ANOTHER star dreadnought in the game.  At all.  IMO.

Same. This will become even more true when SSDs get engine hardpoints, as that will significantly decrease their primary strength (get out of jail free).

isn't this the third thread you've started to discuss this? the ONLY SSDs i can see added to the mod are independent models for Megador and Dominion

i have ideas for those particular models, but they are definitely not legends canon

This is all a bit silly. First of all the base games crappy path-finding prevents anyone from being to SSD centric. Second, other factions need a chance, the NR, EOTH and others will just get steamed rolled if any one faction has access to that many SSDs and pocket SSDs. Third, the Bellator already fills the gap between Battlecrusier (Allegiance and Preator II) and Star Dreadnoughts ( Soverign, Executor, Eclipse, and even the Assertor). There is already plenty of firepower to go around in a standard fleet makeup, and to need more of it isn't needed even in the biggest of battles. Everyone can make do with or without the firepower of a SSD, so to somehow need firepower from a overrated class of ship is beyond me.

THANK YOU. the only reason i kept saying Megador and Dominion is those ships were major important and showed up in multiple campaigns. they add depth, not just extra OP ness. assertor, not so much. only 2 names can i think of, Asserter(never mentioned except as class leader) and Wrath(who lead a Base Delta Zero). anyway, you would be better off with just building Executors instead, which is why we know of at least 15 in legends and they are the only named class in canon. Assertor? not important enough, not needed, and not enough people are asking for it, and even then it wouldn't get in.

now, if you MUST have it, you could 1. make your own model. 2. code it. 3 make sure the hardpoints all work. 4. release you own minimod for this.

I think that the Megador and Dominion are two completely different beasts of a topic compared to the Assertor class, however you compare them quite nicely. Also your argument makes a bit of sense, so its actually debatable.
