Lore questions: Treuten Teradoc and the Galactic Center
« on: July 27, 2015, 03:07:30 PM »
Out of curiosity, is there a reason why Treuten Teradoc's unit icon makes him look obese http://thrawnsrevenge.com/assets/images/factions/units/1232.jpg in this image, while on Wookieepedia he looks totally different when he was at Daala's meeting on the Tsoss Beacon? http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Treuten_Teradoc

Also another question of mine is: is there, or will there ever be a depiction on what the Galactic Center looks like in the SW galaxy? If not, what do you think it would appear to look like? Maybe it would just be a huge cluster of stars in a relatively small area with a black dot in the center. I have no clue what antimatter looks like.

When The Warlords (Teradoc, Harrsk, Delvardus) were added, the Tsoss Beacon pictures didn't exist. That conference image where they're all suffocating was released in the Essential Readers Companion in October 2012, while we released 2.0, the first version with those heroes in it, in August. The icons in the mod currently were created by Xizer's friend on commission based on descriptions of the characters, which were pretty incomplete so there was a lot of guesswork. 2.1 was released afterwards, but I never got around to changing the icons for 2.1 because we were more concerned with some performance issues and Survival mode at that point. They have been changed for 2.2 however (and what's currently Treutan';s icon is being used as his brother Kosh's). Several of the icons in the mod were actually created this way, including Admiral Ar'alani, Melvar, Trigit, Vermel and Ait Convarion. Our Isard portrait was also hand drawn by Codeuser (aka Dr. Knickers) since he wasn't happy with any existing picture of her.

Also another question of mine is: is there, or will there ever be a depiction on what the Galactic Center looks like in the SW galaxy? If not, what do you think it would appear to look like? It's a supermassive black hole, so I imagine it'd look like whatever our own galactic center is supposed to look like although no, there has never been a depiction of it in Star Wars.

As Corey stated at the time of their creation no artwork existed of them. Based on the descriptions in Darksaber(the only real time the Warlords are physically described) I had my friend illustrate them. The Tsoss Beacon portrait is also very inaccurate based on the book's descriptions) Harrsk should be VERY short with Black hair(in pic he has grey and is of normal height) Delvardus should have brown hair with white eyebrows and temples(instead of the grey in the pic) as well as his uniform having shoulder boards and teradoc is described as so fat he couldn't get up from the table(he TRIPLED his weight in a year so assuming he was already over 160 lbs normal weight that makes him morbidly obese) rather than the small pudginess we see in the EGW pic) The portraits I commissioned were closer to the source appearance.

Perhaps. Again, I'd read the novels if I had them. I should probably read Wookieepedia and not be lazy.

Not sure if this is already done, but you could have the GC in the background in a space battle at the Tsoss Beacon. You could use a Maw black hole inside a nebula and put it somewhere out of the way in the background. I know its minor and inconsequential, but I think it would be a neat little detail.
