What thing do you play most? I'd choose skirmish since it's easier than trying to take over the galaxy.

I like Galactic Conquest, becausse it allows a more complex game than just a single battle.

i prefer GC, i dont like skirmishes because they are too short and dont have as much strategy in them (or the sort of strategy that i like) and the campaign gets repetitive...

The main problem with skirmish was the maps being so small. At least thats my opinon. There were others, of course.

it gives you many choices on how to proceed: attacking and killing quickly or waiting and building a fleet to minimize casualties
