Star Wars VII Title

So there we have it. It is possible this is just a working title, but what does everyone think about the title as it stands?

I like it. Certainly better than "The Phantom Menace".

Now let's just hope the movie itself will be too.

I don't like the title I mean the force awakened 1000s of years before hand (at least being used by people) but I still hope that the film will be good.

Well I'm not that thrilled with the title; you know, the force doesn't sleep duh!. However, maybe when we get to see the trailer and get a better idea about the context of the movie then maybe we'll feel that it is the right title!

but anyway, WHO CARES :p
whether the title is amazing as "The Empire Strikes Back" or stupidly lame as "The Phantom Menace" (and let's face it; "A New Hope" is not really a fancy title but nonetheless the movie is the greatest of all time), but I'm just so excited that we've got a title! it makes you realize that it's real! it's done! it's materializing!

This revelation means that there will be a teaser trailer coming soon, and I'm freaking out about it XD

I suppose it will depend on the context in the movie.  If the title is alluding to someone (new major character) becoming aware of an innate Force talent (I wonder if Luke ever discovers the science of midi-chlorians in the new unified canon?) then it might make sense insofar as the Force "awakens" within them.

It's pretty good I suppose. Honestly, the only titles in the whole series that ever stood out to me were "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi."

It just amazes me how people can be vitriolic about anything and everything. The title is fine...

I don't like analyzing vague titles too much, but this could be good sign, if it means that the Force is back to being a more primal and mysterious thing like it was in the original trilogy, something that is always there, but needs to "awakened" through personal character growth like with Luke in TESB.

Then again, it could also mean that everyone and their mother will be waving around lightsabers and hurling force lightning.

EDIT: Sorry, meant original trilogy.

In all seriousness, though, you really should consider an account. It's free, it's easy, it's quick, and you won't have to worry about little misunderstandings like that. Come on in. We don't bite. Promise.

I was honestly expecting it was someone else, actually.  :-[ I quite sincerely meant no offense, and apologize if any was communicated.

And hey, some of us bite. ;)
