So, playing a Final Imperial Push GC, 80% finished.  Had one of my Executors trading blows with a space whale, when I tried saving since I had to go out.  Game crashed, no biggie I thought.  Came back and tried to load it, both the samegame and the autosave got corrupted in the crash.  :'(

Ouch, I've had similar happen.  If I'm that far along I tend to just declare victory to make myself feel better. ;)

Sometimes this happens to me in Total War and I just give up on it for a few weeks. The GC thing really made me meh.
