Thats not really evidence thats more of an opinion, and from your opinion and example would be if England fell everyone else would, and countries can adapt so if we did lose America everyone will adapt from the loss.

Why did Rome fell and no other major country? Why did British Empire fell and not any other? Are you saying that when usa falls every other major country falls too? Why? What would cause that to happen?

Rome doesn't count, that was way too long ago, modern day civilization is way too different

And the British empire fell, not Britain, theres a difference

Im just thinkin that in todays world major countries are very stable and not going anywhere fast,  the interdependence of todays countries would make it so that if something severe enough eas going on that one was falling, everyone else probably would too

I suppose to some extent there is interdependence.. Just look at the impact the current US economic turmoil is having on the global economy.. Or matters with oil production..

but still it's foolish to claim that if usa falls, every other major country falls also. but if it would happen, which I doubt, Finland ain't a country to be considered as a "major" so doesn't bother me if all major ones fall. more power to us.

the loans crisis...the us is in x trillion dollars debt, and that equats to x million per person to pay, so they are recalling all the loans from abroad. thats what caused the Northern Rock crisis.

when just looking at the pure numbers maybe, but also consider how many people there are in the US and how much money they have

well the economy of usa is based on taking loans. So records may tell you something that ain't true. plus you have to remember that usa has few super rich people, like movie stars for example. most of the peole are not so rich as your GDP indicates.

well that's stupid. I think country shouldn't give money to other countries unitl they have everything in their own land. Why should we suppport some african coutnry when we have problems in our own?
