Majestic

Hello guys and girls,

First I would like to thank the creators of this mod. I totally forgot about sw:eaw untill recently. I remember being a bit disappointed when it first came out and didn't play it for long...until a few weeks ago 

Anyway my question.In the Ingame descrition it says that the majestic can attack from extreme range but it doesn't have longer range than the othe NR ships. I hoped it would have the same range as the Preator or something.
Is this intended? Because the majestic doesn't have that much going for it so longer range would make at least somewhat usefull.

Anyway that's it for now and keep up the good work, I am really curious how it will turn out.

I've noticed this as well. But you will notice that the majestic was one of the first new - class ships for the NR. So in theory. It had a longer range than most ships of its time. Aka MC class ships. That is the theory I have come up with.

True that...The Majestic doesn't ever look very majestic...

Funniest thing is when you set it side-by-side with the Defender carrier that it shares a hull with, and the Defener is short and fat, the Majestic is long and skinny.  DAFUQ?

Another thing is that the Majestic is very underpowered for a capital ship and since it is such a smal ship it might fit better in the frigate class ships. Drop pop 1 point and increase it's range a bit and it would be a usefull ship.
And by the way I don't think it's such an ugly ship, it won't win any beauty contests either tho

I'm not a fan of it period. While it does have the same armor and shielding of a star destroyer. It doesn't have near the firepower, which is a must considering what it is fighting against.

As for it's firepower, I agree that it is lacking compared to the MC90, but the squadrons it carries are one step up, and it is able to defend itself against fighters with the laser cannons. I tend to deploy them in support of larger ships, such as Wedge's SSD.
