is Survival Bugged? and Game too strong?

Hello,

i have 2 problems with 2.1

i saw the new Survival mode so i started and tried all 3 of them but whenever i buy a unit it does not spawn OR have the button highlighted that lets you spawn units, so nothing happens?

also is ICW stronger then before? i remember in the early version i had installed i could easely win at medium or low being expert at the game, but now i cant beat any of them at the level low or medium considering he comes up with Capital Ships pretty early game even on low?

In Survival Mode you can only deploy reinforcements between waves, you also can't see them during a wave.

Well survival is supposed to be challenging, so not being able to bring in reinforcements during waves makes it more interesting.
And if you went past wave 20 you already got to the point where you're kind of supposed to die
Since there are basically only the most powerful ships in every wave we can't really make it any harder at that point except by spawning even more ships of the same type.

I'd kinda be scared out of my mind, to be honest. But when you get that high you're doing nothing but the same kind of ship, which makes it theoretically easy to counter. I kinda would think you'd want BACs at the very least, or some kind of Nebula/MC90 mix.
