Well technically all MCs should be built on Mon Cal or in MC space as that was the almost exclusive producer of MCs in the EU.

I can understand that but surely it can be built on other planets as well.

I seldom play as the Rebels(refuse to recognize their legitimacy) Though I think they're meant to be built with any Medium shipyard. Might want to ask Corey about this one.
