I would change Anakin Solo dying on the Bannu Russ(?) replacing him with the hippy coward Jacen.  This would prevent the travesties of LotF and FotJ. Or they could have killed Jaina and made Anakin and Jacen grow further and further apart ending up with Anakin leaving the Order with several other Jedi and setting up an Order in the Empire, but not on the Dark Side because the Sith have been used too much, giving us the Imperial Knights.

I'd have ENDED the series at the end of the Vng War. It ended perfectly, tied all things together and franky couldn't be topped. Everything had been done by then. It was time to let it go.
(Also then Pellaeon could have died in peace, Lord knows he earned it.)

I don't know Corey, I mean there's Hethrir, half the Shadow Academy, all the characters from Red Harvest, the entire cast of the Force Unleashed II...

They may be bad characters but they're not bad in a way that colours the entire series after their inception. The second Anakin Solo appeared he became a gary stu and that's all he'll ever be. If I wanted that I'd read Eragon or Ender's Game.

One thing I would change...most of the Bantam stories. Some had good central plots (Jedi Academy for example) but were messed up by the addition of superweapons and weirdness.

Yes kill more of the old ones.  I don't like how they have all of these invincible characters there is no suspense it is just oh something bad happened oh wait the heroes are here everything is fine. I personally think Luke, Han, Leia, and Mara should have died in the Vong War so the new generation took over.  I don't think they are bad characters or anything, they are the originals therefore above scrutiny, I just think that everything had run its course and they needed a fresh start. But Karrde and Lando would have to live.  Karrde because he is to awesome to die and Lando because he needs to buy the rest of the galaxy.
