Thrawn in two places
« on: June 27, 2013, 07:20:42 PM »
In Era two my fleet over Kuat was attacked by Thrawn, who was defeated and retreated, but survived.  Seconds later I was attacked at Noquizor with a Hand fleet led by Thrawn, with same description In the battle screen.  Does the era 1 thrawn disappear when era 2 starts?

He's supposed to

He's not, actually. He's supposed to leave the EotH and his clone returns in a later era (5?) I have personally never seen the clone in AoW/EoW, he never seems to spawn for me.

He's supposed to

You don't get it.  He was in both fleets at the same time.  The Imperial Thrawn even came back for seconds at Kuat after the Hand Thrawn attacked me at Noquizor.  The Hand Thrawn Lasted til the Third era where I beat him at pantolomin I think.  This wasn't the Thrawn clone,  which flies a Chaf class, it was the Thrawn flying a Imperial SD. And a TARDIS apparently.

Wait, when I responded to Xizer I read Crisiss' response first.  That tricked me into thinking that Xizer's response was answering the subject issue, not my question at the end, but reading it now I see he was responding to:
"Does the era 1 thrawn disappear when era 2 starts?"
My bad Xizer.

I also have a theory as to how this happened.  The Imperial Thrawn and Hand Thrawn attacks happened within seconds of each other, meaning one was already enroute when the first attack happened.  Would this mean that the game wasn't able to delete Hand Thrawn? and since it missed the delete would that explain why it was still around in era 3?

I forgot about his instant transmission technique
