So your great uncle, a marine that fought at Iwo Jima knows that the preident of the United States, who he never met, decided to leave the US Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor to get owned? I dont think so

Indeed he does and his points dont make sense. This makes his opinion look bad, but there is some possibility in it.

FDR wanted to get out of the depression. He hears of the suprise attack and decides that entering the war would jumpstart the economy. He didnt want to enter the war on a whim, that would hurt his reputation. So he decided to use this to make people want to enter the war and give them something to fight for.

But he didnt need to have almost the entire Pacific Fleet decimated in order to enter the war, all that was needed was an attack, not a slaughter

I would preer compulsory because then we wouldn't jump to war at any chance we see.

But if the Congress wouldn't have allowed the war then it would have been a big mistake.

And then I have to thank USA for one thing it did not do during WWII

WHich is basicaly what i said, and i wouldnt be talking about being wrong on things, "The holocaust is a bunch of russian propoganda."
