The Accursed Freeze

well, i hit the freeze. Again. and once again its within just a few wekks of me obtaining ultimate victory, at day 87 this time. I feel kinda depressed now, and, i dont know, just felt like posting this. this crap happen to anyone else?

Yes, every time when I play as the PA it freezes when I'm near eliminating the final remnants of competition.

i have yet to win a GC, its...pretty depressing. I wasnt even in the 100's yet, is there anyway to help postpone the freeze?

The freeze only happens to me in EoW and AoW when Thrawn is killed in era 2 and it tries to go to 3.

That's not the freeze he's talking about Xizer, that's an exception error. Two completely different problems.

ive had it happen where my game froze if i killed pellaeon in final imp push as EotH >_> any reason for this? no exception error i have to ctrl-alt-del the game to kill it >_<

I can relate.  I have several saves of AoW as the PA.  The Emperor is trapped on a planet.  I can't kill him because that crashes the game.  Instead, I play until the freeze (week 80 ish).  I've noticed that the freeze happens at different times, so if I load a save that was before the freeze, I can play a little longer, save often, and then reload as soon as the save happens.  Hope that helps
