Duel of fates, was it inaccurate?
« on: December 26, 2011, 10:11:16 PM »
In Episode one, Obi wan kinobi and Qui Gon Jin duel Darth Maul, and as we all know Maul kills Jin, but what makes no sense at all is, "Where was obi?!"

In the beginning of the film, Obi wan and Kinobi use "Force speed/Run" To escape battle droids on the sepy's vessel, well when obi wan was running down the pathway to catch up to them after falling, why didn't he just use Force run?  :o That's a bit of a logic flaw for us Wars fans  :HA:
Anakin: You should be more patient master, after all, the count is a elderly gentlemen, and doesn't move like he used to

Obi Wan: I suppose your right.

Count dooku: I'd kill you both right now if i did not have to drag your bodies.

(Obi and anakin mock Dooku)

Lol obi-wan could have jumped over the gap with force speed so I don't see the problem?

Force speed AND Force jump? Lol. That's too much to ask for a Padawan.

You ever see what happens to a Jedi going about Mach 1 in force speed leap a hole with a Durasteel wall right in front of him on the other side? He would have been a lot flatter and then fallen in the hole.

Redlettermedia's review makes fun of the where was the speed during the maul fight. It's pretty odd how they can move super fast yet don't in other times they should have. like in the forest if they were running super fast no stap could chase them.
