Jedi in Space Combat

Hey guys i think it'll be a cool idea to make New Republic Jedi be able to fight in Space combat, not exactly like in the clone wars were they had their own personal star fighters, like luke, a X-wing with a cool ability, like increased damage for 15 seconds or such, also, they could add a 5% health boost to all Republic Star fighters in the battle they are currently in, a little better firepower and a little better shielding then X-wing squadrons, Thanks.

Lets see Luke Skywalker is his 1 man hero xwing unit along with another jedi hero who also flys an xwing. mara jade has her own ship and I believer the mon colomarian jedi also her own ship. if your talking about the default jedi unit? this isnt the clone wars the NR as to my knowledge doesnt give away free star fighters, however if they gave them an A wing it would look similar.
