That would still require a lot of work, and one of the reasons the mod is probably dead is because me and Enc both have absolutely 0 desire to do any more of that on this. It was meant to be a hobby, after all, and when hobbies stop being fun, they stop being hobbies. This hasn't been fun (for me) to work on for two years now.

Ya. You guys were great when you wanted to be. All good things must come to an end. Just sad it had to end. I wish we could have at least gotten a watered down version. Thanks Arb for your hard work! Hope you go on to succeed elsewhere.

I wouldn't rule out another small release (something slightly bigger than FotR V2 was) as a possibility, it's just unlikely. If I do, it would just be released here. I'm certainly done with the rest of the EaW community, if nothing else.

Very sad indeed. Although I can't help but asking, if its not been fun for two years, why have you been doing it at all?

Anyhow, if you guys do decide to close down, you should upload all the magnificent models you have made onto filefront. Id hate to see them go to waste.

I kept doing it for this long because I felt that I owed certain people on the team and didn't want to have wasted their time. Once everyone else left and me and Enc both felt that we didn't want to do this anymore, that ceased to be an issue.

As for releasing everything, that would require a lot of organization, tracking people down for permissions, and a bunch of other fun stuff, and based on what I just said the waste isn't a huge issue for me. The original people who made the material are free to do as they wish with what they have made though. There's really no other mod I would want my stuff to end up in, so I'm just gonna let it sit on my HD until I either release the watered down version or delete it all.

Thanks for all the support guys. You've been great over the years. I'm sad that it has to end like this (  :crrry: ) but real life takes priotrity over a mod any day.

I may release some of my assets depending on how I feel and how much effort I would have to put into fine tuning a couple things on certain assets.

I hope you won't be too hasty about deleting it all!

I had better keep my copies of the GCW Minimod and EotH/ICW pre-beta's then - I might want to play them again sometime

:P

Well. I don't know what to say. I would think you guys would be upset to leave this, I mean you guys spent alot of time on this. But then again I am always amazed at the patience of modding teams.

It is a shame the mod is on its way to being dead.  :-\ If only there was a way to keep the files and work done from going to waste. Hmm...
