I think everyone knows people like this. For example, one of my friends lectured me for eating unhealthy when I ate Doritos, then opened up at the exact same moment a Hell energy drink...
The only thing he got out of it was me asking:
"Is that poison healthier? Look in the mirror before lecturing me, punk." (in hungarian of course)
And the punk wasn't an insult, just to be clear. He is LITERALLY A PUNK.

Learned this from all of my older family, I rather not have my children providing for me because I am unable to due to my terrible health. Its honestly like a family curse because I think I'll have to do the same thing with my parents.

Actually, it is about the fine balance between the two.
You can't disregard the first half of your life, worrying about the second, cause then you lost one half either way.
You have to enjoy life to the fullest.
