The one who watches and the other one is the ones who makes fun of you for watching it.
And then you manage to show them some and they start watching it themselves, and you say welcome to the "..." club

Funny thing is that the animes with the least ammount of "fan service" are the ones turning out to be the best ones to convert people to our cause
The other one I managed to turn friends is Attack on Titan

Nah, there's a 3rd type, me.  The one who watches it for 15 minutes, says "this sucks ass" and stops watching it, but couldn't care less that anyone else likes it, because after all, he loves Red Dwarf and MST3K and a lot of people think that sucks.

Everyone has their own opinions about any TV genres. It's like restaurants, no one can agree on what is a good one. For example, I don't even count Dragon Ball as anime because it has become so Americanized. As long as no one hates on someone with a different viewpoint it's all good.

Yeah I haven't put a lot of unknown anime up there, since my opinion usually falls with the popular trends in anime  I usually watch the bigger ones first.

I actually agree with you, but I think its different if you count the original anime instead of the dub. The dub changes Goku's character completely, making him more of a hero, when he's more an antihero. I actually like the manga better than the dub since I can see Toriyama's artwork and original line of thinking a bit more. Right now I have all of the "Z" manga and the first volume of Super, I still have to purchase the "Dragon Ball" manga. I really like the story of kid goku so I'm watching my local barnes to see if they'll stock some of the original.

There's some where I like the dubbed more, FMA brotherhood I like, Dragon Ball though its different has its own appeal.

if you watch ghost stories, the dubbed is completely different from the subbed and its way better.

And ghost stories. The reason it is different is that the japanese version sold terribly, so when they had it dubbed they told the voice actors that they could do whatever they wanted except change the names of the characters and the ghosts. whichever actor got there first got to voice their lines first, and then the people who showed up after them had to work with what was there. It's a masterpiece.

See, I've watched Brotherhood and Bebop subbed and dubbed and I still prefer subbed.

the only real problem with subs is that I have to watch twice.
First to read the stuff and then again so that I can pay attention on what is really happening and see the details clearer.
Can be a bit annoying at first though.

Yup, and that's exactly why I refuse to watch anything that's subbed.  Doesn't matter live action, animated, documentary, if it's subbed, I won't watch it.

I've gotten so used to it I can do both in one viewing. Plus if it's Japanese I can understand bits and pieces without subtitles.
