Well, that ones hard to say. Its not like the Rebels couldn't have found a different fighter, but then again, we'll never know if said fighter could perform on par with the X-Wing in the pivotal situations that the X-Wing saw action in.

if the x-wing wasnt invented the rebellion would have to make do with y-wings and z-95 headhunters...and the origanal trilogy would have been way different..not sure how..cause the x-wing was a pivotal part in so many Rebellion victories

there are two answrers to that depending on what side ur talking about...

Rebellion..
i believe that the Arc-170 is better than the x-wing, so the rebellion would have won more battles, but there would be less of them because of the increased number of pilots needed to fly them.

Empire..
The rebellion would have no chance and would have been wiped out before it started almost.

What if the alliance won the battle of Hoth?

Not really, by the time of the Galactic Civil War, the ARC-170's were nearly twenty years old.  Besides which, the Z-95's and X-Wings are almost direct successors.

What if the alliance won the battle of Hoth?
Overall nothing would have changed.  The Alliance would have had to abandon the base anyhow because it was no longer a secret and they couldn't fight the Empire's forces head to head.  Luke would still have had his force vision of Obi Wan instructing him to travel to Dagobah and seek out Yoda.  However, Han/Chewie/Leia wouldn't necessarily have gone to Bespin, but undoubtedly will have have ended up in a other captive situation at some time or other, necessitating Luke's rescue mission.

If luke took vaders option and joined him..

they would have jointy destroyed Palpatine, taken control of the Empire and defeated the rebeles on and above Endor the rest continues with the rebels hunted to extinction and there being no more jedi (leia would have never found out, or she would be recruted by luke to help kill vader) anyway the empire wins and the Sith rule on as the head of the empire

What if Mara joined Thrawn's Hand?

Thats a hard one. I believe Thrawn wouldnt have died when the Bodyguard had a change in heart as she might have seen it coming. and also She may have died in his service and therefore no Ben skywalker which would mess up the star wars story line.

WHat if Vader had survived during the events of the death star II ?
Hold your fire. Hold your fire Admiral? What are paying by the laser now.

There ship has been damaged death will come to them in a slow and very painful way.

Yes sir!!!!!!!!!!

hmm well i think he would of joined luke and made the new jedi order together and they would have a better knowledge of the order before it fell to palps. And im sure there were people in the empire loyal to vader like the 501st and they would of followed him and joined the alliance or "be the new jedi orders personal army ;D"

What would have happened if the Republic had found the Star Forge first?

What would have happened if the Republic had found the Star Forge first?

The Star Forge was powered by the dark side so any non force user would be unable to use it and any jedi the republic had investigate it would be corrupted by the station anyway

what if the placing of luke and leia would have been reversed? luke going with bail and leia going to the lars

Leia would presumably save the galaxy but possibly be unable to both reform the jedi and still marry han so one way or another the timeline would change. Luke would probably end up being a senator and later jedi and would not meet Mara Jade since she had not been ordered to kill him.

What if Darth Bane had been killed by Kas'im?

Revan returned from locating the Ultimate Evil, and was still alive?
(Time-space warp and was only gone for 5 years to him, and has his entire fleet still? [0 bby])

I think that was the end of Forces of Corruption  ;D

If he did I am sure he would encounter the Empire and the Palptine might have either made a deal with him, destroy him, or somehow trick him.

If he ended up encountering the Rebels first I think the rebels would be basicly destroyed. Eventhough Revan's fleet is out dated by now they still have a force user and a good amount of Sith soldgers. (This is all concidering the lack of numbers for both sides and that if they engaged rebels it would have to be on Yavin, Kashike, or possibly over tatoine right before the Imperials arrived).

If it was the third event I think the rebels would escape useing Revan's fleet as a distraction for Vader and his fleet to deal with and the events after that I am not sure but Alderan would still be destroyed or under threat of being destroyed to trade for the plans.

(By the way I am aware my spelling sucks)

What would have happened if somehow the rebels found an army of clones from the clone wars that betrayed the Emperor for some unknown reason??? (This could be at any date from the formation of the rebelion to the times after the battle of Endor)

I suppose that the Rebels would utilize them in many decisive battles because they are most likely battle-hardened, and have more experience combined than most of the rebels in the Rebellion.

They might also be able to disclose valuble information that palpatine had not wanted to get out. i.e. SSD, Death Star and so on and so forth.

Darth Caedus would now be dealing with Abeloth and the Tribe, who i would hope he'd band with and obliterate one sith

What if Darth Caedus had been victorious against those who attempted to kill him?

Caedus would have led the One Sith with Krayt for a time, or kill him, or get killed by him. You know, Sith stuff.

What if Cade Skywalker trained to become a Jedi Knight?
