The Imperial Remnant was one entity in the Galactic Alliance (it entered as a whole rather than as individual systems), wasnt it?  So the "Imperial Fleet" is the Imperial Remnant's defence force.  However, i doubt it would be "huge".

Well, [spoiler]apparently the Moffs decide to turn and fight with Jacen, seeing him as a potential new Emperor[/spoiler].  Which would change things considerably.
