Imperial Civil War Tech Support / CTD when starting reunification GC...PLZ HELP!

I seem to be getting a CTD error right after the logo intro for the remnant and just when the Star Wars title for the crawl appears.

why?

Reason for the fighter compliment replacement is because it makes more sense to tie up an old clone-war era star cruiser with  associated clone-war era fighters.

Can you have the engine actually stop working after the hard point or the entire ship has been destroyed? It's because it appears to be strange to have the engine lights remain functioning even after the hard point or the entire ship has been destroyed. Also can you a shield boost ability to the venator because its shields are pretty weak and replace its current fighter compliment with clone war era fighter/bombers like the ARC-170, V-wing,torrent starfighter,and the jedi starfighter .
