Title: Force Awakens recap in light of things to come
Post by: kucsidave on November 21, 2016, 11:11:24 AM
With rouge one on the horizon, I think we should all remember what we were waiting from the force awakens and what we got.
If you think the movie was good, then good for you, but I think different.
And this guy managed to turn all my emotions to words. Please watch this, (even if you are a fanboy) to the end. I know it is long, but I dare you to tell me where did the guy made any mistake. I DARE YOU!

I can't disagree.  I hated Episode IV rebooted, errrrr...episode VII.

Still going to go see Rouge One with the family despite hating Episode 4 2 with a passion.

See, I Liked Episode VII and am quite looking forward to seeing what Disney can do outside the core trilogy straightjacket.

There is no Imperial Remnant. There is only the Space Nazis.

I like that video, even though there were several points that I only halfway agree with or completely disagree with. The last 15–20 minutes of that were what I agreed with the most.

There is no Imperial Remnant. There is only the Space Nazis.

Which is ridiculous in and of itself. I mean the whole Aftermath series is a joke really. Also, on another completely unrelated note, good to see another RWBY fan here.

At least it's bringing back Boba Fett to fight at Jakku.
I mean in all seriousness if we look at it form the new canon what happen in Aftermath is retarded. YOUR TELLING ME that the GALACTIC FUCKING EMPIRE LOST ONLY A FUCKING YEAR AFTER ENDOR. *Throws his aftermath book at a cyclist killing him instantly with its retardness*

The Empire is so powerful they control the whole GALAXY WTF.

ARHAHAHAHHAhAH

*sigh*
Fuck this shit

Oi, good to see one as well.

Tycho: Wait, slow down. A week ago, Wedge vaporized the Emperor and half the Imperial High Command - I know that Imperials tried to stab us in the back after The Truce at Bakura, but isn't the war basically over? Why won't the Imperials just surrender?
Luke: Would you stop fighting if Wedge was killed? Or me? Or Senator Organa? The Battle of Endor will always be a turning point in this war, but there are millions of Imperials scattered across the galaxy, and we can only assume that they will fight to the end. And they probably have orders to do just that.

That quote from the X-Wing series. Makes you wonder.

Thought to be fair, in both canons, the Unknown Regions were, well, Unknown. Half the galaxy. In Legends the EotH were responsible for conquering them, in Disney's EU (calling it that) the First Order decided to.

That has absolutely no bearing on the matter; I just happen to like the NR logo better than the Imperial one. Besides, the New Republic came out of VII pretty poorly so surely that would be a reason not to like it! :P

Imagine the next movie introduces The Greater Maldrood launching a campaign against the NR
