All reported issues will be kept in this thread. Issues posted ion other threads will be compiled here, and then the thread will be deleted or mergedto keep down the clutter and make everything easier to find for everyone and to keep the rest of the board for more general issues individuals have as opposed to bugs.

This does not include issues which have been addressed. Those will be kept in the patch notes thread, found here (http://gutr.swrebellion.com/forums/index.php/topic,2742.0.html).


Known Issues:
* IR Specialists have gun, lack firing bone.
* Wayland: total pop cap of 7 as opposed to 10.
* Overwhelming odds value set to low for some reason (causes FoW reveal)
* Ground Preview screen covered in black.
* Fighter heroes (Fel, Phennir, etc) have icon multiplication errors.
* Adumar, Nirauan have [MISSING] information.

Reported but Unverified:
* Novatroopers may or may not have build limit issues
* Art of War NR battle on Thyferra (ground) crashes.

NR Defender fighter squadron is victory relevant, even though it's not hyperspace capable. I'd also question why EotH squadrons AREN'T victory relevant while all NR squadrons are.

Baron Fel's icon appears to be multiplying.  Nothing wrong with the unit itself, just he seems to have a bunch of hero icons up in the top corner.

It is impossible to invade ilum on the ground as the EoTH in the GC empires at war... I get an exception error every time i try to and get past the loading screen

I don't know if this is one bug or a series of them.  When playing "Infinities" as the Hand, planet information and population information coming up as "MISSING" on Adumar, Niruan, the the other two planets that are immediately attached to Niruan when you start the game.

in the GC EoW playing as the PA: every time i go into battle against IR Thrawn and kill him the game crashes to desktop(i think i killed the EotH Thrawn before but i'm not sure)

Playing Art of War as NR, in era 3, just got attacked by an EotH fleet led by Thrawn (whom I swear I just killed leading an IR fleet! gasp!). Sorry, looks like the era  change scripts are still buggy.

UPDATE: Another era 3 bug, I've lost Nebulon Series frigates but don't have access to the Corona.

kind of an odd one, but for me all water in GC games spawn as the generic red/blue hued water.....any idea how to fix that?

I recently started Essence of war as the remnant, and for some reason the E-web does not show up on the build tab for any planet no matter how many barracks I build. It does appear on the tech tree however, and according to the manual it should be available in era 1.

For clarification I am playing version 2.0 with hotfix 1.

Jerec is really really slow in land battles. I don't think he got the speed boost all the other infantry and land units received.

With Jerec's Vengence in orbit, PA land assault doesn't get orbital bombardment or bombing run support.

PA's Vindicator carries 1 TIE Interceptor, 3 TIE Fighters, and 1 TIE Bomber. I think this is because in the XML's, the Vindicator_Pentastar is coded as a variant of the existing Vindicator, then given an additional Fighter and Bomber as <Starting_Spawned_Units_Tech_0>

Wouldnt really say its a bug but something I noticed. When I was liberating Coruscant *New Republic Essence of War* on the ground when using bombing runs it was TIE bombers instead of Y-Wings. Could have been because I had an ISD-II from when I took Kuat but just figured id point it out.

Just some input here, nothing too major;

- Have definitely had issues with Nova troopers in Thrawn Campaign and Reunification
- MC80 death clone is out-dated (though at least does not change size)
- MC40A Shield-generator ( upon destruction shows a victory or Imperator bridge break off from ship)
- The description of fighter squadrons on MC90 out-dated
- Duro Civilians possess weapons, but don't fire *

I am unable to download any copy of 2.0 ICW. I tried Desura first and it said that they did not have 2.0 on their site for me to get the mod. I then tried the Gamefront link through Moddb and that link kept coming up as "Page Not Found" no matter what.

Is there any way in which someone can put the mod up on a rapidshares site or a torrent site?

We have no control on the status of the mirrors provided by ModDB. However the download works perfectly fine for me (both installer and zip version) when going through the Gamefront mirror.

Yeah if the downloads aren't showing up for you like that, the problem is more than likely on your end. They don't appear to be broken after checking them and having received no other reports of it, I'd be surprised if they were the issue. You might have some connectivity or security issues.

The AI in the shadow hand scenario doesn't seem to want to bud ships, I also had it on hard. Likewise I also noticed the same problem with ISDIIs in the hunt for zinji.  Also empires at war scenario has a problem with the AI seeming to be turned off.  It never builds or attacks.

in the hunt for zinj none of the fracted empire attacked and they all had only 1 barracks and troops and nearly the same in space kind of boring and that was on hard it felt like picking them off one at a time and zinj didnt even attack them they had no golans either

Still failed. However I am still able to get drop box and mediafire DLs...so, is it possible that you could upload it to one of those sites!? I know that I am asking a lot but I really want to play 2.0! I'm stuck playing 1.3 at the moment and its killing me, since I got a good friend hooked on the 2.0 version and he keeps taunting me with all the goodies.

I finally managed to get one of the things working. I downloaded the installer version. Finally. Thanks for the effort to find a solution. Looking forward to future editions.

Btw, you guys should make like a collection pot for individuals on these boards to throw a few dollars your way, if that would in any shape or form help development of more mods.

I have a problem with the novatroopers: they are avialable at first and after two or three battles I can't built'em anymore. I know there is a limit of how many you can create ( It was 10 or something like that ) and I ussually end up biulding four or five of them. I've seen that you haven't confirmed and issue with the novatroopers yet so I hope that this reply helps you. (Anyway it's not something imporant to me, despite being the most powerfull IR infantry I only use them once)

I noticed something pretty funny: when you destroy the pirate skiffs, a single IR trooper appears. Now, while I'm not saying I don't like one extra trooper, I don't think it is really fair to the other side for me to get this super powerful unit (jk).

Sullust begins capital shypyards but according to the description it can only have light frigate one. Not sure if the description is wrong or they are supposed to have the capital. My "fear" is that if they are destroyed you may not rebuild'em again

if penstar catch a war factory or a mercanry barracks they dont get like the up grades or the army like swamp speeders or the cannon ones from war factorys and i would like to ask you core every other group can build star ships like x wing or y wing can you make penstar be able to build there skipray and tie h hunters in a 1 station and upwards pls

Team 3's resource pad on the Commenor land skirmish map is inaccessible to foot soldiers due to bumpy terrain and therefore cannot be captured.

In certain maps there is supposed to be water and I can actually notice the effect on the stormtroopers but the water can't be seen. An example is mon calamary ground map if you are intereseted

in reunification if your the rebs dalla just has all the units you have to find like palleon and cronus the game started and i went to attack the maw and she had her ssd cronus and paleon in the first 1 minute  does the ai basically cheat against you if you have to do things

The AI doesn't have to do the mission things to get their heroes. The AI wouldn't be aware it needed to do extra stuff so it's more fun this way.

Reunification was a pain in the ass with the empire but come on they begin with two planets (and one is not a planet in fact) they sould be really easy to beat

ok my mistake on the map list she is not there but on the list that shows you the eras when you play shadow hand  leah is on top of era 3 or the palpatine era or is that just for the era campains when they change?

i am playing make your own galaxy with no heroes its good but nal hutta ,nal hutta is about as fast a person who cant walk,walk it is digusting is just so slow i am playing the map for 30 minutes so far and i still do not have my bombing run its not my computeri have saved and restarted and made sure other games load at a good speed do something about that map cause it f***ing rooted and sucks a**

I think he may be having performance issues with that particular map. Nal Hutta is a bit more resource intensive than the average TR map but we have no intention of making changes to it.

I didn't see this previously reported, but in Reunification there is no way to capture Metellos when playing as the NR.

I can't buy katana dreadnaught for the NR but i can with the IR. Also the y-wing, skipray and TIE hunter are not buildable in gc

Every time Thrawn dies or is killed off the IR in era 2 of EoW and AoW the game crashes and I get the exception error message.

For the TIE Hunter it's a modified version without proton torpedos or a hyperdrive, since that would be more cost effective in-universe, and around this period Imperial groups were scraping the bottom of the barrel. This may get reversed when we can put the V-19 in a few of the places the TIE Hunter is now, so we don't have to worry about it being overpowered. Skipray for similar reason; we didn't want people running around spamming them, they're actually rather powerful.

The availability of the Y-Wing was supposed to be cut off at either era 1 or era 2, since the only ones still in service around the time of the Thrawn Campaign were those which had been produced earlier. There could be some discrepancies in the in-game information/manual and actual availabilities because of miscommunication between myself and Slornie. I'll look into it.

Hi, i found 2 duplicatable Bugs in Galactic Conquest.
First one:
If you destroy one of the major factions before the Imperial Remnants advance to the last era
and then try to kill the Imperial Remnants Main Hero to advance to the next era,
Then the game will crash.
(somehow obvious, the game tries to spawn Heroes for a non-Existing Faction which only can result in an Error)

Second one:
If you try to fight a battle in space against Land-Units
(land Units attacking in space and you don't want to auto-resolve)
the there will be an error which you can ignore BUT
then the Auto-Save will be deleted AND if you try to save the game says no free space left on Hard Drive.
If you try to overwrite an old Savegame this old Savegame will be deleted.

i had both of these bugs 2 times

I noticed that the LAAT has the same problem as the corona.

This is slightly the result of it having to have a collision mesh that doesn't cover its whole wingspan. Originally it did, but the LAAT would tend to blow itself up. Funny to watch, but not especially helpful.

So this happened twice.  Saturday I was playing the Hunt for Zinsj as the NR.  I had just finished losing the Ground battle for the Planet Noviquzior(sp) and went to the Galactic map.  Within 10 seconds the cursor turned to an hourglass and I got an "exception error".  The Sunday night I was playing the Infinities GC as the NR.  I had finished defending New Cov from the Empire.  On the Galactic Map I went to save the game.  I saw the text box that read "saving" and then again the cursor turned to the hourglass and I got the same "exception error".  I haven't tried the game again though.  Ideas?

I had the Novatroopers bug happen to me yesterday. Just wanted to let you guys know that it is still happening.

The TIE Crawler doesn't use its light turbolaser against vehicles and buildings, it only uses its blaster cannons. It only uses the turbo against infantry. This seems to greatly reduce its damage output.

Figured I'd post a few bugs I've noticed here.

1:
Played "The Essence of War" as Imperial Remnant. Fought the Hapes Consortium at Charubah using Isard and some other units. Isolder's Song of War was present in the battle and was destroyed. As I immediately moved my fleet on to Hapes, Isolder had respawned there and his ship participated in this battle too. Once again died and didn't see him again so it might just have been a minor glitch.

2:
Played "The Art of War" as Empire of the Hand. Chak Fel was in a space battle and took some damage, but the unit was alive when the battle came to an end and was not on the list of losses, yet he disappeared from the icons of heroes and was nowhere to be found on the map. I don't know if the hero is tied specifically to one fighter in the unit that was destroyed and that is what caused it, but it seemed strange.

3:
Same campaign as 2, I was trying to do ground assault on some New Republic planets. The game would freeze for a few seconds as it would usually do before announcing "Invasion commencing" and then nothing would happen. No button to go to ground battle and no battle, but the ground units were all gone from orbit. I would move Commander Ashik down and he would disappear, but then a few of the ground units would reappear in orbit (yet not all of them.) If I moved those units back down, Ashik would reappear in orbit, but the ground units were once again lost.

This problem seemed to occur if the New Republic hero Gavrisom was the only NR unit on the surface. I had to exit and load the save from before the invasion to get the army units back. I tried a few invasions where Gavrisom was present along with other New Republic units and then the ground battle went as it is meant to.

During one such "botched invasion" I also noted that Ashik was "duplicated" and two instances of him were present in orbit. I could make a second fleet out of the duplicate, but was unable to move the duplicate around the galactic map. Still, the botched invasions did not seem to relate specifically to Ashik but rather to Gavrisom as Ashik was not present in orbit during all of the times this happened.

Your last problem sounds like the freeze, how long you've been playing that scenario?

The issue with botched invasions in general didn't seem related to the freeze as I was still able to play for quite a while longer.

However, now that you mention it, the Ashik duplicate thing occurred around the same time as the freeze. Which was ca week 350 of "Art of War."

I've been playing as the NR on dark fury skirmish and all of my turrets and golans have no shield regeneration. My ships and shipyard do though.

Auto resolve has not been modified by the mod in any way. The base game designed it to be heavily in favour of the AI, and the game doesn't seem to load any changes to the relavent lua files.

Apart from that, great mod! :D

That's not a problem with the mod, but a problem with the base game. There seems to be some weird inherent limit to the number of units, like starfighter squadrons, that get selected when you double click on that unit type. There's nothing that can be done about it, I don't think.

Hi guys, I've been playing 'Reunification' as the Imperial Remnant and at a random point during the scenario (it happens every time I play the scenario, sometimes right at the beginning, sometimes about two thirds of the way through) Daala is killed off for no reason, this always happens on the galaxy map, at first I thought I may have been bounty hunters or something similar but a few times now it's happened whilst moving between planets. It can be a little annoying given that you only start with 4 Imperial class Star Destroyers and everyone counts at the beginning (plus I hate losing my leader or any heroes). Every time Daala is killed off, in the left hand of the screen, the section that displays what other battles are happening in the galaxy comes up with 'the Warlords haven been defeated at Odik III'. Sorry if this has been raised and covered already, love the game!

That IS how most forces under the various Warlords behaved, Milton's forces went to Grunger, Pestage's went to Isard, Isard's went to Zsinj, Zsinj's went to Teradoc, Teradoc, Harrsk and Delvardus's went to Daala and so on and so forth.

I'm not certain how many of you guys encounter this, but when I save a skirmish game and load it again, the cursor when hovered over the mini-map will turn into the standard one from the in-game one. When clicking on the mini-map, it crashes the game and gives me a D3DL exception. (Done as the Pentastar Alignment on the Kuat map who's name I don't remember right now, and as the Empire of the Hand on Fiery Demise, I think.)

Still would have much preferred it. I mean, if you tell a moving company to throw your shit over a cliff, you can't really be pissed at them for it. Would definitely help whenever I'm trying to assault those pesky dug in IR positions (cough Carida cough)

If you save in a space battle and reload when you start the game again all hardpoints(yours and enemies) are all at 75 or 80% health even if no one has shot yet.

This also applies for Warlord buildings. You get the stormtroopers for some reason.

I dont know if this is a bug or not but there are no space heroes for the pentastar alignment, also shouldn't the vindicator and enforcer cruisers carry fighters or is this intentional?

Vindicator should carry fighters, Enforcer does not.

Is this in Skirmish or GC for PA?  Because in GC they should have Kaine in the Reaper (Executor class SSD), Jerec in the Vengeance (Vengeance class dreadnought), and Grand Admiral Grant.

 I have a bigass Skirmish pricing and build time writeup to give you sometime, but for now I thought I should inform you that the Remnant Venator does not actually spawn any fighters in Skirmish, I fixed this by changing its <Starting_Spawned_Squadrons_Tech_4> to tech 0 instead, since you can't get Venators before era 4 in GC anyway.

Also, only the first player on a team in Skirmish can control the Golan I/ Golan III/ Brask on their team, meaning only one person can buy the tech upgrades and heroes, and order them what to attack. This is because these platforms lack a dedicated Skirmish variant with the <Is_Community_Property> field, unlike the Shipyards, which do posses one. Not difficult to fix, but kind of annoying, if you want I can just copy paste what I did and PM it to you or something to save you the hassle.

Is Thrawn not spawning in Thrawn Campaign in multiplayer intentional or? Also, Storm Commandos can't one shot infantry like Infiltrators can, so that's sort of a balance issue I guess.

Been playing today, noticed something (actually, I noticed several things, but forgot what maps most of them are), not sure if they've already been fixed or even reported before.  If I can remember the others I'll post.

1.  Ession.  Map is just...messed up.  Huge dark spots everywhere that make it hard to see things.

2.  One of the volcanic maps has a abandoned sensor tower in the northwest region, but it's impossible to capture.  Hopefully I'll remember which map.

No idea how to get screencaptures in the game.  I know the standard prntscrn doesn't work (or at least not if you use 3rd party screen capture software).  And yes, all hotfixes applied.

On the Carida/Gravos IV maps there's a build pad under the shuttles that can't be taken. And in 'Thrawn Campaign' Carida starts with a mining facility.

I personally use Xfire. FOC also has a print screen key ( I can't remember it) that saves the shots as TGA files. I'm fine with those being sent as I have no issues opening them.

5. Merchant Space dock does not let you build anything
6. The "Corona" ship has a typo in it's description, having an _ instead of a space in "anti_fighter"
7. The Awesome Entity map is [MISSING] all of its load screen data
8. The Geonosian Conflict map is [MISSING] all of its load screen data
9. The Mantell Massacre map is [MISSING] all of its load screen data
10. This isn't a bug, but the map name for in-game space skirmish(and probably also land) is different from it's real name

I've been meaning to do this for awhile ;D

Just found this one today. While playing Art of War as the NR, I attacked Rihgar sending luke in first, but at the exact same time the IR attacked me in another part of the galaxy. I know I and the IR AI attacked at the exact same time because even though the IR's attack happened first, immediately after the battle ended the the "Tactical Battle imminent" at the top showed up for the land battle on Rihgar even though I hadn't tried to attack Rihgar after the first battle. The glitch happened at the beginning of the battle, when 2 Luke's were there, but one spawned in the heart of the EotH's ground base. I quickly cloaked him and got him out of there before he could die though. The other Luke spawned correctly thought at the landing zone(just fyi).

In 'Reunification', if Odik II is captured by the New Republic, Daala (in the Gorgon) is immediately deleted, though she will spawn in the Knight Hammer as usual when you capture Odik II yourself.

I actually noticed that.  One game I was playing she disappeared for no apparent reason (at the time), but Odik had just been captured.  I restarted the game because I didn't know what happened.

If forced to choose between Daala and ANY other Imperial leader I have to say I'd go with ANY other one with a VERY few exceptions(Isard, Carvis, and Sedriss probably being the only ones worse than her)

I'd take Isard first, although barely.  I like the fact that Sedriss is very loyal to a cause, so I'd probably put him even with Daala.

Can't say I'd ever serve with Isard or Sedriss. Daala might be an idiot and have abysmal luck but those two were in leagues of their own.
Isard and Sedriss were tactical idiots who cared nothing whatsoever for the forces under their command. Sedriss sent Veers to his death in pointless attacks, wasted countless ships and material in wave attacks that relied on sheer numbers and also failed to actually secure ANY of the territory gained during Shadow Hand(as a result when Palps went bye bye with Byss all those gains evaporated almost overnight) Isard caused Fel's defection, the fall of Brentaal, Coruscant and the NRs capture of 3 ISDIIs and a SSD!

Haven't found this elsewhere, and the hotfixes didn't fix it, but NONE of the ISD heros' tractor beams work and the Chimaera has the Hardpoint but no ability.

This is a small bug with the Interdictor, It has no hangar hard point and has no visible hangar at all.  But deploys a tie scuadron (sorry, I forgot the important part(

Hey guys,

Awesome mod but I found a several difficult to handle bugs in terms of game balance and enemy spawns.  My apologies if I somehow missed someone else reporting these already.  Details follow:

1.  On the "From the Ground Up" campaign, the NR faction gets 3 Viscounts for free at the start of the GC and the EotH gets an unknown number of phalanx destroyers (can't reach them since I have my hands full with rebels.  I've taken everything up to New Alderran and Hakassi by week 11 then they throw a Viscount, two BACs, and a Assault Frigate while my fleet is running ragged from all the heat that gets tossed their way from multiple directions again at week 11.  Is there a way to take away what the most powerful republic superweapon there is no way they should not get for free at GC start?

2.  The Vic II's do not have their full fighter complement of four squadrons (see description).  I only get one drone squadron for each Vic II.

3.  Many of you guys seem to have something that allows you to choose what to hyper in while I have my fleet autodeployed with no ability to turn that off and I have no idea if you guys are expecting the use of a mod.  Given the problem highlighted in 1. I would at least like half a chance to ram my Vic II's up some cheating AI's posterior with maximum firepower!  My hardest hitting ship at week 11-12 is Vic II's BTW.  I can't capture the closest Cap Ship yard to the IR in that time obviously (especially given 1. breathing down my neck on week 11 at Hakissa!)

4.  I'm forced to kill spams on more than one odd occasions where I really should not be at all (given said shipyards built at Gavin IV, Harikiss at horrific expense in IR terms - their economy is horrific at FTGU GC start).  Any idea why simply loading a save would spam orange meanies (typically a BAC and a corvette or two and at other times a unit of NR soldiers).  Does anyone else have this problem with spammy rebels popping into existence far from my hasty and extremely weak border defenses?  Those extremely meager defenses (hey it was week 10 and I start with almost nothing!) should at least trigger a space battle I would lose anyway.   I work my fleet with only one stupid escort carrier lost and it feels like the rebellion starts with every planet and a 50000 credits/wk balance, a captital shipyard, full defense platforms at all planets, and at least five extremely wealthy starting planets!

5.  Does the NR and EotH get a capital shipyard for free?  Do they get multiple Viscounts for free?  Do they start with the ability to send a corona to orbit a planet along with one troop and snowball turbolaser defenses and a troop producing structure on a non-NR world and insta-win against the AI?  More importantly, how do I get to cheat back!  No matter how many of them I kill or how ruthlessly I drive my empire to conquer systems quickly or how shy I am to accept unit casualties, they just keep coming like Zerg Swarms with superweapons!

6.  The NR sent a 49 cap fleet that didn't include super weapons by week 16.  I have one 18 cap fleet and several ground troops + 11 planets.  I drove off a 21 cap EotH that week at Galtros IV that week then moved my fleet to kill several NR spawns that popped up on the other side of the Empire.  That was when the NR struck at Galtros IV.  They only had one planet that was capable of sending that fleet to Galtros IV from whatever is up and to the right of New Aldeeran.  Its like the NR is starting off with 25+ planets at the start of the campaign with full industries and capital shipyards and 9999999 credits + 3 Viscounts + insta-build spam fleets.  It takes my side about a week to build ONE Vic II ship!  I heard of long odds but this is like fighting a stampede of enraged bulls high off of ecstasy alone in the middle of the road at night armed only with a paper butterknife and a wuffle bat. 

Is there anyway to balance/mod the AI or at least tweak the GC start parameters for the NR and to a much lesser extent EotH? 

Mod's awesome but 3 Viscounts eating me at week 11 and random 40+ fleets thrown at me before week 16 doesn't seems a bit off especially when the IR starting position and resources are so very few.  I do love the idea of starting with one planet though.

Unit selection bubble nonexistent or oversized.
NR: Endurance, Nebula, Bothan Assault Cruiser
IR: N/A
EoTH: N/A

More to come as I play other factions.

Mini Map ship designators are also over/undersized for certain ships.
Praetor II, Viscount are the one's I've noticed. There may be more as I play other factions.

During Era 5, Jaemus (PA) and Bastion(IR) seem to have a fun time consistently attacking each other.

Also, is it normal for the Praetor II to have an effective range 1/3rd farther than other ships it's size?

Potential of having Palpatine be as aggressive as Daala/Issard/Thrawn?

Endurance and Nebula build pics/icons are nearly indistinguishable.

Conquering Jaemus results in a 'Praetor II' being captured apparently while playing as the NR. Problem is it isn't selectable or unable to join my armada.

When building a Sovereign, a VO of 'Mon Calamari Cruiser' is sometimes used.

Hey Imperial Knight, I'm going to pick up a couple of your comments/questions and try and give you some quick answers.

1) The Viscount is *technically* coded to be limited to one per player; however for some reason the AI seems to enjoy disregarding this restriction and we haven't been able to find a way to prevent it.  As far as I know, this particular issue is most noticeable in From the Ground Up.

2) The players talking about hyperspacing individual units into battle instead of relying on the auto-fleet are using the pathfinder slot in their space fleets (top left with a gold border).  If there is a unit in that slot then only that unit will hyperspace in at the start of the battle; allowing the player more control over what other ships they bring in, when they bring them in, and where the put them.  This was a feature introduced in Forces of Corruption (see page 9 of the FoC manual).

3) The AI factions in From the Ground Up start with more planets, units and resources than the player-controlled faction.  If they didn't they would just give up (overwhelming odds) and not do anything - and where's the challenge in that?!  ;)

Don't know if you'd already seen and fixed for 2.1 release, but in the Beta Wayland only has 2 landing zones that total 7 reinforcements.
