I like the NR the most because they're the underdogs. When you start a campaign you have to move quickly to not be overwhelmed by SSDs. Later, when the EoTH inevitably takes control of half the galaxy, they're great as the last faction you need to beat to win because their units are so overpowered. You really have to use your resources efficiently, as well as strongly defend planets that act as the only pathway to sections of the galaxy you exclusively control (and that might be lightly defended). I also think the Mon Cal ships look great.

I've played as the EoTH and it gets boring quickly because it's so easy to just steamroll the other factions.

I actually haven't played as the PA yet, but that will probably be my second favorite with their mix of Imperial and Old Republic units.

I like both the Empire of the Hand and the New Republic, however the IR would come next should the option have been there to choose three.

I think it's because what little coverage it has portrays it as a more "human", less humanocentric Empire.  So you still get all the stuff you love about the Empire (Star Destroyers), without the sith, without the human arrogance.  It's a likeable empire.

I agree that the Pentastar Alignment is at least a more realistic version of the Empire (as in it's the kind of Empire you'd see if Star Wars was more hard sci-fi), but I'd have thought the Empire of the Hand is what people would go for if they want a more likeable Empire. Funnily enough, this very notion is a source of internal conflict for Mara in Survivor's Quest - she finds the Empire of the Hand an attractive prospect because it reminds her of her good old days in the Empire without all the evil.

Anyway, I voted Empire of the Hand due to their cool units and utilising hit-and-fade tactics using their ships with indestructible engines, and Pentastar Alignment due to their similarly interesting and varied roster plus the fire-power they can bring to bear with it.

I don't have much experience with this mod yet so far, but so far I've played the EoTH and the IR. I suppose it's just my play style ever since I played Starcraft. Small groups of big, heavy, slow but powerful units. I decided to go with the EoTH and was plesently suprised with their power levels. They can kick all kinds of ass and their units are very interesting in design too.

thank you, and sorry, but i was mistaken.
The DL did not used interdictor star destroyers, but Immobilizer 418s.
Just switched those two's name...
It would be also logical to give them AT-PTs as they were used by the local remnants.
And we all know what happened to every single piece of technology they found...
If you ask me the worst problem with the DL though is that they have no income boost buildings.
My solution for this problem would be the Prison camp, which in their case could be called enslavement camp and would give them a decent amount of credit income, however only 1/planet could be built and would be quite expensive.
Like Vanila game's Consortium palace.

I think the best thing about the Yevethans is that they not just taken out the local remnants, but used their own ships against them, captured an SSD and enslaved them, just like they used to be enslaved.
The only thing i really sorry is that the Duskhan League had so few units.
In wookiepedia i found a few information, and according to those, the DL used Interdictors and CR90s...
Would be cool to see the DL using them having Yevethan plex soldiers, and so on...
Their scout trooper could have been a lonely sniper, having the sprint ability with a fairly long vision range.

agreed.
In fact, one of my friends sent the vote.
I showed him the game, and he fell in love with the DL.
I really hope I can finally talk to him enough to make him register, and joining the community.

I really liked them as villains, too bad the side story in BFC with Luke sucked so bad. I always wanted to see more of the Yevetha, they were more fanatical than the Vong. Kind of ticked me off when they were killed offscreen, or off page I should say by the Vong. Must have been a hell of a battle though. The Yevetha had several thousand Thrustships and dozens of heavier capital ships according to Jainas sensors so just imagine the fleet the Vong brought in to bum rush them. Woulda been something to see. Hopefullyyour ffriend will join. Is always cool to meet a fellow Dushkan League enthusiast.

I'd go with the Remnant, largely because of Thrawn. Then again, the Pentastar Alignment has some pretty good units.

You ask too broad a question.

In Gameplay, Remnant all the way. It can just stomp the Rebels easily and those SSDs are GLORIOUS. About my favorite part of this mod is the 40 pop cap which means a Executor + Sovereign + some support (ISD IIS or heroes). It stomps. It's glorious.

In fandom, Pentastar Alignment. I'm a sucker for corporate america ruling the galaxy.

That's why i admire Jerec. He successfully played the PA,Prophets of the Darkside and Reborn Palps for his own gain. If he had not had the misfortune to cross SWs Chuck Norris he might well have ssucceeded in his goals. I mean he was only beneath Vader in the underlings power level and he would have had the knowledge and power of 24 Sith Lords and 100 Jedi knights and masters . With his web of financial support and resources he might well have become Emperor
