I was thinking that in the first era, the rebels could get some sort of shipyard raid missions, thereby acquiring a (some) neb-b or something like that.

We're not doing the suncrusher and Kyp Durron just for a mini campaign. The Sun Crusher would be far too overpowered, and it wouldn't make sense if it just disappeared after this. Kyp durron was also way too young to use as a hero. The New Republic already have Luke, Corran Horn, Mara, Cilghal and Kam Solusar for jedi, all of whom were there before Kyp (except maybe Mara) so he wouldn't be your first jedi hero. And besides that, Kyp wasn't actually working for the New Republic during that time, he was doing whatever he wanted.

What we're trying to do here is get some small events that would fit within the context of a GC with a clear bonus that makes it worth doing for the player, not make a full story campaign with several  missions per event inside a GC.

So for a random event when you reach daalas era (tech lvl2 i think) a event (a not-so-random-event) where you take control of the suncrusher and have kyp flying it where you have to destroy all of the imperial ships around carida wen daala then jumps in with more ISD's so you destroy them and then daala escapes and you destroy the planet and then that leads into the Jedi academy and kyp being the first semi-hero Jedi or something, just an idea...

I think it would be kool to fight the vong from what i read sounds like it would be fun, but it does sound like alot of work for just a couple of planets. what mod do u fight the vong in again??

it was two planets actually helska 4 (where the vong first come through) and somewhere else but you don't necessarily have to make them THAT difficult just make them a little more difficult

YEa that was a rather hard 3 planets to conquer. cuz there ships were stronger then the Mandator and there fighters wouldnt die only with missiles I remember have to make 100 fighter to distract the Ai and then using the broad side cruiser to take them out form far away. I lost alot of ships the first time. Lest see. An SSD and the mandator and a few star destroyers and like 50

Yeah. And that planet was really hard to conquer. I remember losing an armada there! :(

The Vong have been done for a similar amount of exposure before.  I seem to recall that Z3r0x V3 had a Vong fleet that could be fought at a specific planet..

Palpatine new about the vong because of the Chiss Admiral Ar'mali(or close to that) as she fought them before the book "outbound flight" so why not have a event that says this planet has been attacked by an unknown alien force prepare a fleet and destroy them.
And then as a reward the player is given powerful ship's as well as some dialogue where palpatine says the invaders managed to retreat but it was disturbing that their scout force managed to break through the energy that protects our galaxy (check wookiepedia it has an entry something to do with Helska IV and a "band of energy") anyway its just an idea so you can use any models you already have.

For a randome event during Natasi Daala's era, why dont you have a scripted event that can appear anywhere after # day that you get given a unit that can go on a diplomatic mission (unit sensitive slot like the rebels "steal") that advanced the event? you could do that for each warlord and then when they all meet daala and nearly kill each other you could have a non skippable space battle in which she has to use a ion cannon blast o disable a ship and then move a boarding shuttle to each one, and for each ship that is boarded you get one of those after the battle but if you just destroy them you dont get any? would be an intresting idea i think.
