Probably. But we cannot know. The way I look at it, we have multiple 'lives', in which we have a life at random points in the time of the universe, nay, existence itself.

there has to be something after death, i dont care what you guys believe, you really think that it just ends, nothing, i hate to sound like gandalf here but death or whatever is after death, depending on what religion you are, is prolly much cooler and longer and more meaningful than what we could ever concieve of in "life"

the only way we can truly know the truth about death is to die

Whether death is just an abyss or something more, our lives should center around life, not death.

iunno, as you said, death is shaky ground, no one really knows. i mean, some people claim to know, but theyr dissmissed as eccentics, what if they actually know the truth about death?

Well, if you were a hermit living on an otherwise deserted island, you wouldnt have to pay tax.
Umm actually you would pay taxes by being attacked. Paying 'tax' doesnt necessarily mean giving money to a government; it could mean paying for your sins, paying for your living, etc. Therefore, the theroy that you will pay tax is true, ecause you pay 'tax' by dying.

well you don't have to pay taxes if you don't have any income too. but most people don't live like that.
