Pathfinding
« on: January 14, 2019, 12:39:19 PM »
Greetings fellow users,
I'm really impressed by the mod and have been pouring a lot of time into it recently. I came up with a question, didn't know who else to ask and hoped it may be answered quickly here. When watching Corey's playthrough streams I noticed that the paths each ship is taking is displayed on screen. I have not been able to find such an option in game so is it custom-made? Can I enable it somehow or have I just been blind and overlooked it?

I'd be grateful for help!

If I remember correctly it's done by changing this line in the GameConstants.xml from false to true:

Code: [Select]
<ShouldDisplayPredictionPaths>

Thanks you, this is helpful. It appears I can change quite a few things in the .xml files if I were so inclined.
I know this isn't quite on-topic anymore but is it possible to view ship characteristics like range (which are not in the manual) somewhere in the .xml files? I haven't been able to find that yet.

EDIT: Nevermind, found it :D
