everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and Qui Gon is certainly better than a lot of other jedi

Qui-Gon Jin was better and greater jedi than C'Baoth or Windu.

better than C'Boath certainly, but i think that Windu is more powerful than Qui-Gon, certainly in terms of skill with a lightsaber - although it may be that Qui-Gon is more experienced in the power and ways of the force

I would beg to differ, Going on with what Jorus did in the Outbound Flight. I'm sure it will take an huge amount of knowledge of the force to use the Jedi meld technique.

and what about Qui-Gon 'visiting' Yoda after his death, im sure that would also require a great deal of knowledge and power in the Force to do that

Agreed, But many of a jedi has done that, Only few ever have achieve the Jedi Meld technique.

I would assume achieved, Due to the fact if done or carelessly wrong can lead into the Dark Side of the force.

no, Anakin didnt join with the Jedi Meld, but he was in a position to feel its presence.
