there is only a limited supply of Star Wars books on the Overdrive app for my library, so i read whats there, which is about half old, half disney.

I just head over to Barnes and Noble when I am looking for a particular SW book. Otherwise I go by the local thrift shops. It's a bit of a crapshoot, but I've gotten almost all of the Bantam-Era novels and a quarter of the Vong series that way.

TBH I like the paper books more. Yeah, ebooks take much less space, but there is something about the paper. Mostly that I can hold it in my hand and say, yeah. this is mine.

It's even better when you have a nice bookcase of some sort. Unfortunately my TARDIS bookcase is indefinitely on hold.

They're also easier to take with you on trips.

and they are also easyer to loose. You loose your ebook reader and lost all your books and have to buy them again. You loose one book, you have to replace 1.
And not to mention what happens if that ebook reader gets damaged. BADLY

If I lose my e-reader of it breaks I buy a new one and sync it to my online library - Kindle Store or whatever. You can also back up ebooks separately on your PC and import them manually to another e-reader if the circumstances demand. The end result is really no different to your mp3 collection or game library (aka iTunes and Steam).
