2.15 Save Problems

Love the mod, but ever since I updated from 2.1 to 2.15 none of my 2.15 saved games will work, and actually crash the game.  Just wondering if anyone else has run into this?

None of my 2.15 saves work.  I know the 2.1 saves won't. Even when I save in game, and go back to the main menu, when I try to load either the named save file or the auto save file, it crashes the game.

First, try disabling Steam cloud sync. This may not work on pre-existing saves.

Tried the cloud sync disable, didn't work.  So I then uninstalled and reinstalled everything and its still not working.

And this happens with any new saves you create as well? Does it happen with base game saves, or if you try with other mods? Is this the workshop version or ModDB?

I know saves from previous versions won't work once you upgrade.  This has only been happening since I upgraded to 2.15 and started saving new games.  I tried a vanilla FOC game and the saves work just fine.  I'm on steam, and have the mod through the workshop.  This is the only mod I play on EAW.  Thanks for the help Corey, don't mean to be such a pain, I just love the mod!!

Guess something has changed recently with steam because it was fine till recently

Is any of the mod team looking at this issue?

We're fairly certain we know what causes it, it comes up in a ton of mods, and seems to be related to memory limits on some scripts being exceeded. It seems like it's not an issue in 2.2, and if it does become one, we'll fix it there, but at this point we're not going to be doing any other patches for 2.15.
