I've been looking into it more, and now I am certain I will get this game (as soon as I get a Windows to run Steam on ). I think the Vasari Rebels will be my faction to play as, since they adhere to my philosophy: After a time, you have to stop running and make a stand, or lose everything. Can't wait for more info on Ascendancy, if TR is any indication, it will be one sweet mod. I also hope that Ironclad does make a SoaSE 2, because whatever it is that is chasing the Vasari is coming, and it won't easily be stopped. It would probably be a four faction game with 1: a coalition of the TEC loyalists, Vasari Rebels, and Advent rebels; 2: Vasari loyalists; 3: TEC Rebels; 4: Advent Loyalists (the Rebels were right, there was something going on inside their organization) and their masters (whatever race brings the darkness). It also should have a campaign.

Ah yes, the Vasari Rebels... they are fun to play as, but really overpowered :p. Still though that doesn't matter in single player.

I personally really like the TEC Rebel faction.  Their Titan is pretty cool and it's nice not having to deal with pirate spam after a certain point.

Yeah they are fun, the Ragnarov is just funny to watch as it kills everything. I kinda dislike how you're always getting Kodiak spam at your capital every time you take a planet though lol

I prefer getting free ships at my homeworld when I liberate a planet instead.
