Very strange...

Im working on my latest space map, and have encountered a huge problem. I put down the skirmish_empire_starbase_1, put down the markers, and saved it. I Closed the map editor, and opened it up again the next day. The starbase was gone, but everything else was still there. Confused, i put the starbase down again, and saved and exited. I opened it up again and... same problem! Every time i try, the same thing happens. Anyone know why?

In the toolbar, check View --> View by faction. There should be a checklist, make sure they're all selected or things will disappear. That's probably what your problem is.

yes, the problem was quite similar to that, as it turns out. I had set the faction ownership to "branched" and so it deleted the empire's structures... i guess this can be locked now.
