Ultimate Empire at War Version 1 Scrapped

I thought anyone who has played UEaW in the past or was looking forward to version 1 would like to know that the mod has been canceled.

I thought the last version was 4.0 anyway?

Not a horrible mod, but nothing about it was really all that impressive.

It was reset to version 1. It was suppose to encompass the entire Star Wars galaxy including every era. There was going to be two factions: Light and Dark. As you progressed through the eras who you could play would change. Old Republic Vs. Sith Empire, Old Republic Vs. CIS, Rebellion vs. Empire, and New Republic Vs. Imperial Remnant. Wasn't going to include Vong or Legacy Era in the first release (or possibly ever).

No wonder they cancelled it.

Whoever heard of following 4.0 with 1.0?

If they don't even know basic counting, how could they hope to code a working mod?

I don't think you understand. The entire mod was restarted. They didn't build off Version 4 (now officially known as version 0.4 BTW). They reset the whole thing. Sad. They have been working on it for many years it is very sad to see it go. There is word about that they will release what they have to the public and allow anyone to use their models, maps, ect. in their own mod. But that second part is only a rumor going about.
