Exactly. THe Tie's are more the symbol of the Empire in my opinion, for the same basic reasons as Isamu's.

so the ak-74 (not 47 as everybody calls it thats really old) is not a symbol of the ussr but rather the t-100

And if someone were to be asked what gun=ussr, it would be ak-47, not ak-74 like your all-knowing mind apparently told you

they look the same. the 74 is more accurate and longer range along with a bigger kick.
