Imperial civil war 2.1 will not work

I have renamed the mod folder and I have tried to try and get it to work I have been trying to get it to work for the past couple months with no luck

What version of EaW do you have (disk, gold, Steam)? What is the full folder directory of your Imperial Civil War's Data folder? There's nothing you should have to rename if you've extracted it properly. If you had to rename something, you likely have an extra folder between Mods and Imperial_Civil_War/Data, when it should just go directly ...Mods/Imperial_Civil_War/Data

Hi Corey ive been having serious trouble trying to install thrawns revenge 2.1 and ive tried for weeks and had 4-5 teachers and people help me with no progress my file path matches completly to the file path in the directions i have the gold pack from steam i have no idea what to do ik you are probably tired of answering these questions so wouldnt it also be easier to implant an auto installer to make it easier on us and you get to keep your sanity

What's happening? Can you go into the Data folder for the mod, copy the whole directory, and paste it here? Same for your Steam launch options.

We used to have one, but installers downloaded from ModDB tend to get false positives from virus scanners, a lot. People also still have to set the initial directory properly, so it doesn't solve everything. We're working on getting a launcher set up for 2.2 to hopefully make it easier on people, but who knows.
