byss crashes the game

while playing as the pentastar allignment on the essence of war map, the game crashes every time i win the land battle on byss, if it helps, im in era 2 and the emperor is on the planet, it crashed twice after i killed him.

Downlaod this patch. The fix is not compatible with existing saves.

once i download the patch, how do i know if its working? do i move it to the icw folder?
